Almost twenty years after Monika Treut first visited the pioneers of the trans movement in San Francisco in GENDERNAUTS, hardly anyone can still afford to live in the former “clitoris of the USA”. While the protagonists have grown into their identities over the years, their fight against discrimination and gentrification continues. But they come prepared.
