Once I am not – performance

This solo production by Nofar Sela came about after her mother passed away and the need to prepare for her own death – right now. The Israeli artist works with emptiness and tries to fill this emptiness with thoughts. Her work »SurFace«, which sheds a critical light on the State of Israel in conversation with the audience, has caused quite a stir. In her new performance she invites the audience to encounter a topic that is often suppressed: “This is an opportunity to touch on what is surely too big to understand, and to practice what we will probably fail at.”
