One word – movie+discussion

One Word (Marshall Islands, BRD 2020).  Afterwards there will be a discussion with Viviana und Mark Uriona (Kameradistinnen).
The greenhouse gas emissions of industrial societies will probably be the downfall of the ancient culture of the Marshall Islands. This is not a local event, but at the same time a universal warning to all humankind. By using the Marshall Islands as an example the directors show what impact the global warming and the rising sea level have on humankind.
